Be very careful with this product. I used it on my thumb nail which had a rip starting at the side. The first couple of days were fine and I thought I had found an answer to split nails, but on the third day the nail ripped off completely where the product met the nail – exposing the nail bed from about below the original tear.

This is the best repair kit I’ve ever used. Fixed a nail that was almost torn completely off without a lot of fuss.
I had to use a little more than the recommended 2 layers to get it to hold, but am now almost 3 weeks later and the repair is still holding
