   I just wanted to comment that I am most impressed by your business & service. My package arrived within the time frame specified, to Tasmania (very quick) , when I have found that things take forever to get here usually I have used fLash before to great effect, and find that ordering from your company is still the most cost effective – BTW, for anyone that reads this, this product really does work!

   Your delivery instructions and emails are thorough and provide a great level of comfort when you’re tracking an item, especially from overseas.

   I’m actually from NZ (Wellington), and am very proud that your company excels at such great customer care.

   Terrible service, My parcel went missing, received it a week later, and all I received were snarky sarcastic emails from the company director Ken Daniels. I wrote this same review on facebook and they took it off. So saying that “Unfortunately this review is the first we heard of the issue.” in regards to another customer 2-star review is rubbish. I received no apology they just seem to want to sweep my complaint under the rug.

     Hi Shani,

     1) Your Facebook review from March 26th is still up – Facebook don’t allow deleting reviews – here is a direct link to it: https://business.facebook.com/shani.singh.3133/posts/837298399751596:1 We have removed you from our marketing channels as per your request so maybe that is why you can’t see it.

     2) Commenting on another customer’s review is uncalled for when you have no knowledge of the situation.

     3) You received a professional, polite reply to your enquiry within 10 minutes and subsequent replies all just as quickly and most outside of business hours. The comment you seem to be calling “snarky sarcastic” is when you were told “things can go wrong” which was our way of putting perspective on CourierPost losing your parcel and the fact that while they deliver on time 99% of the time, their operation is logistically complex and mistakes unfortunately can happen.

     To put this in context for others, Shani ordered on January 16th 2017 @ 11:50pm and we dispatched her parcel the next day January 17th @ 2:24pm with CourierPost. From there, CourierPost (a completely separate, third party company) failed to deliver her parcel after a number of attempts over the course of the next 3 days as can be seen on the CourierPost tracking here: http://trackandtrace.courierpost.co.nz/Search/2952237991524001AKL001AN

     Shani first notified us of the problem on Friday 20th January @ 3:40PM and we worked with her and CourierPost on Friday afternoon and continued after hours on Friday evening and Saturday morning to fix the situation. Her parcel was then delivered on Monday 23 January @ 12:24pm, less than 6 business hours since her initial enquiry with The Beauty Lounge.

     It’s a shame 4 months down the track Shani continues to write negative reviews for The Beauty Lounge, especially when CourierPost were at fault and The Beauty Lounge helped to fix the problem faster and more effectively than CourierPost did.

     But such is the life of a retailer…
