I am happy to write a second review for LiBrow, approximately eight months after the initial purchase. The product was for my husband, whose eyebrows had become grey and sparse with the passing years. So not an easy ask! After three months there was little change, so my first review was a bit lukewarm, but nevertheless we continued with the application. After about four and half, five months, we really started to see change. The eyebrows’ dark colour has returned (looking totally natural too, not “tinted”), and there are more hairs in total. Everything looks thicker and darker. A great result ! I am writing this review because I think it’s important that users with challenging issues (eg age and male hormones) realise that LiBrow probably WILL work, but may take longer than three months. Cant live without this now, I have been using it for a couple of years on and off after successfully using Lilash on my sparse lashes. I love it so much as it looks natural but what a difference. I went from virtually no eyebrows to the lady at Mecca makeup tactfully suggesting I go to a brow bar for a tidy up! You do need to be consistent and use it every day otherwise they slowly go back to their original state but it only take a second to do. Also big shout out to Beauty Lounge for their super fast shipping and top notch customer service. Ive used suppliers from the States and other NZ companies but Beauty Lounge is far and away the best! We have been using this very consistently on my husband’s eyebrows, which have thinned as he aged, becoming almost non existent towards the outside edge. So we are dealing with male hormones and age related hair loss…a tricky combination. Usage Directions
Wash your face, and brows specifically, with a mild cleanser. Make sure the brow area is clean and dry without any makeup/cosmetic product residue. Using the application wand, apply LiBrow very sparingly to those areas of your brow that are thinning or sparse. The formula is extremely concentrated and only one small stroke is required per treatment.
Important: Please make sure to apply LiBrow directly to the skin in those areas of the brow where effect is desired. Applying the product directly to the hair will not give the desired results. LiBrow must go through the skin to reach the hair follicle where it will work its magic.
There is a natural botanical tinter in LiBrow. This will work gently over time to accentuate the color of your brow hair. This effect will not be too dramatic, so don't worry.
Almost everyone will tolerate LiBrow without any skin or eye irritation. If you find that you are sensitive to LiBrow for any reason just decrease the amount you are using. If irritation persists then discontinue use completely.
Under no circumstances should LiBrow be used for conditioning the eyelashes. That is why we created LiLash. Please refer to the product insert for further information prior to using LiBrow.
Your tube of LiBrow will last for up to 4 to 5 months with daily application. Once opened, the ingredients will remain active for 12 months. If left un-opened, 24 months.
